AMP Technique Testimonials
“Dr. Trent Scheidecker has guided me through the process of learning, understanding and implementing Advanced Muscle Palpation. My analytical certainty and commitment to my adjustment have increased exponentially! While I was finishing school, I felt that I was missing something that would send my skills to the next level. I found it with AMP. Certainty and commitment to the adjustment are vital and I have 100% conviction that this technique will provide you with just that.”
“Money well spent. The seminar helped make connections between what we learn in school and apply that information with our hands to better understand palpation and finding subluxations. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Advanced Muscle Palpation (AMP) is a must take seminar for anyone that wants certainty in knowing WHEN & also in knowing WHERE to adjust. The science behind AMP is only overshadowed by the beauty of how it matches the philosophy of chiropractic. The neurological mechanisms that protect and maintain our bodies are among the most advanced within the human body and yet fundamental to our very existence. AMP has been able to translate that scientific understanding into a succinct method that is able to read the muscles of the spine with precision.”
“After attending the seminar I felt much more confident in my ability to locate subluxations and a deeper understanding of how the muscles and fascia effect the spine. My spinal anatomy class was completely online due to COVID-19 so I was looking for something to make up for the lack of in person instruction and experience that the pandemic caused. I look forward to advancing my AMP knowledge at future seminars!”
“I’ve tried a lot of different techniques before being introduced to Advanced Muscle Palpation. The specificity is what sets it apart from other techniques I’ve tried in the past. For me, AMP makes the most sense for a practice serving all age groups because the principles can be applied to everyone.”
“I’ve never clicked with a technique so much before. AMP is a global approach to the body, not just osseous. Instead of motion of palpation, we find fixation through static muscle tone. It’s gentle, comfortable, and easy on the patient.”

Course Levels Overview
- Level 1: The course focuses on Advanced Muscle Palpation Technique (AMPT), a spinal analysis method used to determine the level and listing of vertebral subluxation based on spinal muscular patterns of activity and the position of displaced vertebrae. Participants will learn the biomechanics of spinal muscle stabilizers and how to analyze for vertebral subluxation using muscle palpation techniques. The course emphasizes the integration of paravertebral neural reflex arcs into the assessment of vertebral subluxation for more consistent and accurate analytical conclusions.
- Level 2: Building upon the foundational principles covered in Level 1, the Level 2 workshop delves deeper into the application and facilitation of adjustments utilizing Low Velocity High Amplitude (LVHA) forces. This workshop introduces participants to the intricate art of actively compressing and expanding muscle stabilizers to achieve optimal vertebral alignment and function. Participants will further refine their understanding of AMPT methodology, honing their ability to discern the level and listing of vertebral subluxation through spinal muscular patterns of activity and the positioning of displaced vertebrae. Through hands-on training and interactive sessions, participants will learn how to effectively utilize LVHA adjustments to restore proper biomechanical function and alleviate vertebral subluxations. The course places a strong emphasis on the integration of paravertebral neural reflex arcs into the assessment and correction of vertebral subluxation, providing participants with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve more consistent and accurate analytical conclusions. By the end of the workshop, participants will gain confidence in their ability to apply LVHA adjustments in clinical practice, thereby enhancing their overall proficiency in chiropractic care.
